INTERROLL
Wherever goods are conveyed, stored and distributed, Interroll drum motors are used: throughout the world, in all sectors and across the value chain.
A Drum Motor comprises a motor, a speed reducer and bearings inside a sealed cylinder. The Drum Motor performs better and is more compact than conventional drives. With only a single purchase required to provide a complete drive mechanism, there is an indirect financial saving.
All the moving parts are encased in a sealed cylinder, eliminating all danger from moving and projecting parts and, unlike conventional motors, there is no risk of electrocution from contact with water. Drives of this type are also much cleaner, as the outside is free of grease or oil from the chains, bearings or couplings. As a result the work place complies fully with health and safety standards.
The Interroll group, established in 1959, today has some 1,100 employees spread across 25 companies.
Drawing on its experience in goods handling and transport, Interroll continues to work on research and development projects in the agri-food and distribution sectors, airport technology, transport and logistics and in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries.
